1) why, peo of or denoting any of a succession of kingdoms formed in the S Congo River basin in the 17th and 18th centuries, or the dynasties ruling these kingdoms
2) peo a member of any of the modern African peoples of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola, and Zambia resulting from the formation of these kingdoms
3) peo the Bantu languages of these peoples
